What's new
The Suzuki SV-7GX has its world premiere at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan and puts Suzuki’s familiar V-twin engine into a new crossover tourer. The engine’s story in the brand’s line-up began at the end of the 1990s with the SV 650. This new model continues that 90-degree V-twin line in a different motorcycle concept rather than simply repeating an older formula.
The riding position is upright in the style of an enduro, but the intended use is fully road-oriented. The bodywork includes a half fairing, an LED headlight flanked by two position lights and a large windscreen. At the same time, the liquid-cooled fuel-injected V-twin remains visible in the trellis frame, keeping the mechanical layout clearly on display.

Specifications and technology
The key figure in the technical data is the 645 cc displacement. The V-twin produces 54 kW/73 hp at 8,500 rpm and delivers 64 Nm at 6,800 rpm. Drive is sent through a six-speed gearbox and chain final drive.

The cockpit equipment includes a 4.2-inch colour TFT display. Suzuki Ride Connect+ enables smartphone pairing via Bluetooth and can show navigation, weather and traffic data as well as calls and messages in the cockpit. A USB-C charging socket supplies power to mobile devices.
